I am currently making this, just waiting on the rest of the jute rope. Basically, just wrapping and hot-gluing the jute around a large letter. Mine is a P. And the darn thing I can't figure out to turn right side up. So sorry for that :)
And finally, this idea for a flower arrangement. Brilliant! Just use scotch tape. I have been thinking of doing this idea with this one too! The rectangle box full of hydrangeas. Which you can do with any flower. Here is the link on how to make the box: http://thriftydecorchick.blogspot.com/
