This past week was my first sale at my shop, Artsy Fartsy, on Etsy. I was so excited at first but now I am nervous as heck! I am not sure how well it will turn out. Hopefully all will go well and I am just worrying for nothing. It is a custom artwork similar to the one above for a mother. It is really cute how she asked for what she wanted in it. Turns out it is a mother that has two daughters similar to the two girls in the painting below but she wants to give it to her mom for her birthday. How cute is that? But the real kicker about this whole first sale is that I have one week to do it and ship it...to that I am starting drawing on it now. Stephen helped me out with coming up with a different way to do the grid layout (this layout helps to keep proportions when changing the size of the drawing from an original photo). Can't wait to get this one finished. I will post pictures of it when it is finished.
